Neversink in the Neversink

Last Sunday, we went to the membership class at Riverstone Church. www.riverstonechurch.tv The day brought back memories and we dug out some "vintage" photos. This pic is of our baptism in the Neversink River, Port Jervis, NY. Rev. Robert Foster was the pastor. The people brought lawn chairs and sat on the side of the river bank. One of the older men said that it reminded him of the Jordan River. Later, someone told us that the cow pasture drained into that section of the river, but it didn't matter to us.
